Capture monoclonal antibodies Monoclonal antibodies for coating ELISA plates are provided in solution. The antibodies should be stored at 4°C. Precipitates may occasionally occur in the concentrated antibody solutions and these should be removed by centrifugation in a microfuge (or similar) at 10,000rpm for 10 minutes, or at 3,000rpm for 20 minutes in a standard laboratory centrifuge. Biotinylated antibodies Biotinylated monoclonal antibodies should be stored in the dark at 4°C. They should NOT be frozen. The antibodies are supplied in amber vials to facilitate storage and are prepared in buffer solution containing 50% glycerol to enhance stability. Stability When stored under recommended conditions, both capture and biotinylated monoclonal antibodies are stable for at least one year from date of purchase. Allergen standards Allergen standards are prepared either from commercial source materials or from source materials that have been prepared in the laboratory. They have been sub-standardized, where possible, against National or International Allergen Reference Preparations e.g. WHO/IUIS International Reference Preparations or standards produced by the U.S. Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER). All allergen standards are prepared in 50% glycerol, however, they have not been extensively tested for stability. Reagents are Supplied for Research Use Only, Not for Diagnostic or Therapeutic Use |
